RESOLUTION NO. R-88--�2/
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A LIMITED WAIVER OF
PARKING REQUESTED BY ENRIQUE WOLF;: R;EGINA
DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, AT A PROPOSED
SHOPPING PLAZA TO BE' -LOCATED ON THE EAST
SIDE OF UNIVERSITY DRIVE APPROXIMATELY 200
FEET NORTH OF NORTHWEST 64 STREET; TO
ALLOW 36 NINETY DFGREE, PARKING SPACES IN
THE REAR PARKING AREA, PETITION NO.
#5-Z $84 .AND-PROVIDING_AN, FFFF-CTIVE- DATE.
WHEREAS, Chapter 18 of the Tamarac City Code provides
that the City Council may grant a limited waiver of the off
street parking and loading requirements whenever a hardship
would exist by adhering to strict application, thereof, and
further provides that the waiver would not be detrimental to
public safety, health, and welfare of the citizens of the
City; and
WHEREAS, a hardship exists at a proposed shopping plaza
to be located on the east side of University Drive
approximately 200 feet north of Northwest 64 Street; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public
hearing thereon and has recommended approval of this
application; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to take action on the
limited parking waiver requested in the application of
Enrique Wolf, Regina Development Corporation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the application by Enrique Wolf, Regina
Development Corporation, to permit 36 ninety degree parking
spaces in the rear parking area of a proposed shopping plaza
to be located on the east side of University Drive
approximately 200 feet north of Northwest 64 Street, is
HEREBY APPROVED, and such limited parking waiver would not be
detrimental to the public safety, health and welfare of the
citizens of the City.
