A RESOLUTION GRANTING A LIMITED WAIVER OF
3 PARKING REQUESTED BY THE CITY OF TAMARAC
TO WAIVE THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION
4 18-3(1)(d) OF THE CODE TO PERMIT NINETY
(900) DEGREE PARKING AT THE PROPOSED CITY
5 OF TAMARAC PUBLIC WORKS AND PUBLIC
UTILITIES/ENGINEERING COMPLEX LOCATED ON
THE WEST SIDE OF NOB HILL ROAD,
APPROXIMATELY 2000-FEET NORTH OF
COMMERCIAL BOULEVARD, PETITION NO.
=zA8.-_g-Np PROVIDING AN AFFECTIVE- DATE.

•9 WHEREAS, Chapter 18 of the Tamarac City Code provides
10 that the City Council may grant a limited waiver of the off-
11 street parking and loading requirements whenever a hardship
12 would exist by adhering to strict application thereof, and
13 further provides that the waiver would not be detrimental to
14 public safety, health and welfare of the citizens of the
15 City; and
16 WHEREAS, a hardship exists at the proposed City of
17 Tamarac Public Works and Public Utilities/Engineering Complex
located on the west side of Nob Hill Road, approximately
2000--feet north of Commercial Boulevard; and
20 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public
21 hearing thereon and has recommended approval of this
22 application; and
23 WHEREAS, the City Council desires to take action on the
24 limited waiver requested in the application of the City of
25 Tamarac.
26 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
27 TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
28 SECTION lo That the application by the City of Tamarac
29 to waive the requirements of Section 18-3(1)(d) of the Code
30 to permit ninety (900) degree parking at the proposed City of
Tamarac Public Works and Public Utilities/Engineering Complex
32 located on the west side of Nob Hill Road, approximately
33 2000-feet north of Commercial Boulevard, is HEREBY APPROVED,
34 PrO such limited waiver would not be detrimental to the
35 Pudic safety, health and welfare of the citizens of the
City.

SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective upon
adoption.
