CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-88- 7
A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE
GENERAL ELECTION VOTING ON THE CAPITAL
EXPENDITURE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW
CITY OF TAMARAC MULTI -PURPOSE RECREATIONAL
CENTER IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE
MILLION TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS
($1,200,000.00), AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
WHEREAS, a General Election was held on March 8, 1988,
wherein the electorate was asked to vote on a Capital
Expenditure for the construction of a new City of Tamarac
Multi -Purpose Recreational Center in an amount not to exceed
One Million Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,200,000.00); and
WHEREAS, the County Canvassing Board has canvassed the
results of the machine voting and absentee ballots and has
certified such results to the City Clerk of the City of
Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk has reviewed the certification
from the County Canvassing Board and has presented their
findings to the City Council for a formal Certification and
Declaration of the results.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
5ECTTON 1: That the following is hereby certified and
declared as the official results of the public vote at the
General Election of March 8, 1988, for the proposed capital
expenditure;
A Capital Expenditure for the con-
struction of a new City of Tamarac
Multi -Purpose Recreational Center in
an amount not to exceed One Million
Two Hundred Thousand Dollars
($1,200,000.00), said funds to be
primarily derived from the City of
Tamarac existing Recreational Impact
Fee Fund.
