CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-88-- SS
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR FURNISHING ALL
MATERIALS AND LABOR NECESSARY FOR THE SUPPLY AND
INSTALLATION OF FURNITURE FOR THE TAMARAC
MUNICIPAL COMPLEX, CITY HALL, BID NO. 88-15; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE ---
WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Fort Lauderdale
News/Sun Sentinel, a newspaper of general circulation in
Broward County on Saturday, February 20, 1988, and Saturday,
February 27, 1988; and
WHEREAS, bids were opened on March 9, 1988; and
WHEREAS, Thomas W. Ruff and Company is the lowest fully
responsive and responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
aECTION 1: That the bid of Thomas W. Ruff and Company,
in the amount of $107,880.18 for furnishing all materials and
labor necessary for the supply and installation of furniture
for the Tamarac Municipal Complex, City Hall, is HEREBY
APPROVED.
SECTION 2: That the appropriate City officials are
hereby authorized to execute any and all contract documents
necessary in connection with awarding of this bid.
SECTION IL This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
