CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-88-Z/17
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR ONE TRACK TYPE
CRAWLER/DOZER, BID NO. 88-16; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Fort Lauderdale
News/Sun Sentinel, a newspaper of general circulation in
Broward County on Friday, February 26, 1988, and Friday,
March 4, 1988; and
WHEREAS, bids were opened on Thursday, March 10, 1988;
and
WHEREAS, Case Power and Equipment Company is the lowest
fully responsive and responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the bid of Case Power and Equipment
Company in the amount of $36,000.00, less $7,500.00 for
trade-in, for a total of $28,500.00 for One Track Type
Crawler/Dozer with funds to be taken from Account #126-131-
541-643, Federal Revenue Sharing Fund, Public Works Streets,
titled Capital Machinery and Equipment, is HEREBY APPROVED.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
