CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-- 87 - i 0
A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. R-87-60
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON FEBRUARY 11,
1987; PROVIDING FOR A NEW EXHIBIT "A";
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. R-87-60
on February 11, 1987 declaring a dangerous condition to the
public health, safety and welfare; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution incorporated an Exhibit "A"
detailing the type of sidewalk to be constructed to alleviate
said dangerous condition; and
WHEREAS, said Exhibit "A" was erroneous in that the
sidewalk to be constructed must have been constructed pursuant
to Code requirements pertaining to specifications; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of replacing the
original Exhibit "A" attached to Resolution No. R-87-60 to
demonstrate that the sidewalk was built pursuant to the
specifications required by City code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the Exhibit "A" attached to Resolution
No. R-87--60 is hereby replaced'by Exhibit "A" attached hereto
and made a part hereof.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its passage.

Sidewalks shall be constructed to a true line and grade from "transit mix"
concrete having a minimum 28 day compressive strength of 2,500 psi. Metal
or approved wood forms shall be used for all concrete work and all exposed
surfaces shall be rubbed while the concrete is green to produce a finished
surface smooth and even, free of form marks, voids and honey comb. Any
Irregularities greater that 1/4 Inch. as determined by placing o 10 foot
straightedge parallel with or a 4 foot straightedge perpendicular to the
long axis of the sidewalk shall be cause for rejection of that section of
sidewalk between type "A" joints.
