R--87-- /3,2- A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR TAMARAC UTILITIES WEST PROJECT 86-15, TO MODIFY NINE (9) SEWAGE PUMP STATIONS 15, 15A, 15A1, 15A1A, 15B, 15B1, 19W, 1W AND 26W, BID NO. 87-1; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the the Fort Lauderdale News/Sun Sentinel, a newspaper of general circulation in .Broward County on January 28, 1987 and February 4, 1987; and WHEREAS, bids were opened on March 9, 1987; and WHEREAS, The Conduit & Foundation Corp. is the lowest fully responsive and responsible bidder. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA: ySB-CTIQN _1: That the bid of The Conduit & Foundation Corp. in the amount of $518,550.00 is hereby approved. SECTION 2: That the appropriate City Officials are hereby authorized to execute any and all contract documents neccessary to the award of this bid. The undersigned BIDDER proposes and agrees, if this Bid is accepted, to enter into an Agreement with OWNER in the form included in the Contract Documents to complete all Work as specified or indicated in the Contract Documents for the Contract Price and within the Contract Time indicated in this Bid and in accordance with the Contract Document. 2. BIDDER accepts all of the terms and conditions of the Instructions to Bidders, including without limitation those dealing with the disposition of Bid Security. This Bid will remain open for sixty days after the day of Bid opening. BIDDER will sign the Agreement and submit the Contract Security and other documents required by the Contract Documents within • fifteen days after the date of OWNER's Notice of Award. 3. This Bid is genuine and not made in the interest of or on behalf of any undisclosed person, firm or corporation and is not submitted in conformity with any agreement or rules of any group, association, organization or corporation; BIDDER has not directly or indirectly induced or solicited any other Bidder to submit a false or sham Bid; BIDDER has not solicited or induced any person, firm or a corporation to refrain from bidding; and BIDDER has not sought by collusion to obtain for himself any advantage over any other Bidder or over OMER. 4.
