A RESOLUTION REFUNDING A PORTION OF A FEE PAID FOR
3 BEAUTIFICATION PERMIT AND INSPECTION BY HOME
SAVINGS OF AMERICA FOR A PROPOSED BANK TO BE
4 LOCATED AT TAMARAC MARKET PLACE; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE_DATE.

WHEREAS, on December 31, 1985, Home Savings of America
paid the sum of $1,956.53 for beautification permit and
inspection for a proposed bank to be located at Tamarac

Market Place; and

WHEREAS, Home Savings of America has notified the City

that plan to build this proposed bank have been abandoned and
11
a request for refund of these monies has been
12
initiated; and

WHEREAS, the Chief Building Official has recommended
14 that $1,766.87 be refunded to Home Savings of America with

$195.66 being retained by the City for plan review and
16
administrative costs.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That $1,766.87 of the $1,956.33 fee paid by
20 Home Savings of America for beautification permit and
21 inspection for a proposed bank at Tamarac Market Place is
22 HEREBY RELEASED, with the City retaining $195.66 for plan
23 review and administrative costs.
24 SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective
25 immediately upon its adoption.
