CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-87-3
A RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. R-87-74
ADOPTED ON FEBRUARY 25, 1987 PERTAINING TO
CALLING OF A BOND POSTED BY TAMARAC MARKET
PLACE LAND TRUST BY TAMARAC MARKET PLACE; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council on February 25, 1987 called
Bond No. 01989 in the amount of $109,437 posted by Tamarac
Market Place Land Trust; and
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department of the City of
Tamarac has stated that said bond should not have been
called; and
WHEREAS, it would be difficult for the City to call the
bond if the administrative staff in charge of the project
cannot represent to the financial institution that the bond
should be called.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Resolution No. R--87--74 adopted on Feb-
ruary 25, 1987 is hereby rescinded in its entirety.
SECTION 2: This Resolution does not in any form or
matter waive any rights of the City Council to call Bond No.
0198.9 posted by Tamarac Market Place Land Trust if staff
determines sometime in the future that the bond should be
called.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its passage.
