CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-87 /53
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE OF A
SURETY BOND IN THE AMOUNT OF TWENTY
THOUSAND DOLLARS (20,000.00) FOR TRAFFIC
SIGNALIZATION AT THE PROPOSED TAMARAC
MUNICIPAL COMPLEX; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, it has been determined a need exists for a traffic
signal to be instailed at the proposed Tamarac Municipal Complex;
and
WHEREAS, the County has informed the City of Tamarac that a
Surety Bond in the amount of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00)
must be filed with the Florida Department of Transportation,
Broward County, Florida in order to make application for this
traffic signal.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the City of Tamarac recognizes the need
for the installation of the traffic signal at the proposed Tamarac
Municipal Complex.
E T N_ 2: That a Surety Bond in the amount of Twenty
Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) is necessary to be filed for the
application to the Florida Department of Transportation Broward
County, Florida for the installation of the traffic signal.
SECTION 3: This resolution is for the specific purpose of
authorizing the posting of a Surety Bond in the amount*of Twenty
Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) for the installation of the traffic
signal at the proposed Tamarac Municipal Complex.

SECTION _ 4: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its passage.
