CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-87- 7 73
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPROPRIATE CITY
OFFICIALS TO CALL THE BOND POSTED BY
SUPERIOR HOMES, INC. FOR PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENTS AT WOODLANDS DAY SCHOOL
UNLESS A WARRANTY BOND IN THE AMOUNT OF
$5,634.38 IN PROPER FORM IS RECEIVED BY
THE CITY BY JUNE 8, 1987; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, Superior Homes, Inc. has filed with the City
Letter of Credit No. 4472 in the amount of $22,537.00 with
Southeast Bank, N.A., as surety, thereunder to guarantee
public improvements at Woodlands Day School; and
WHEREAS, the bond is due to expire and there is not
properly completed work; and
WHEREAS, a warranty bond in the amount of $5,634.38 has
not been received by the city; and
WHEREAS, the principal has been notified that the work
is not properly completed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA.
,SECTION 1_ That the recitations set forth above are
true and correct.
SECTION „2: That the Letter of Credit No. 4472 in the
amount of $22,537.00 posted by Superior Homes, Inc., as
principal, and Southeast Bank, N.A., as surety is hereby
called by the City of Tamarac if a warranty bond in the
amount of $5,634.38'in proper form is not received by June 8,
1987.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption:
