CITY OF TAMARAC FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-87- o2 62
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A LIMITED WAIVER OF PARK-
ING REQUESTED BY MIDWAY INVESTMENTS, LTD. FOR
AN ADDITIONAL 112 NINETY (90) DEGREE RIGHT
ANGLE PARKING SPACES NEAR THE PROPOSED BUILDING
"A" RESTAURANT AND BUILDING "B" RETAIL AT
MIDWAY PLAZA; PETITION 28-Z-86; AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Chapter 18 of the Tamarac City Code provides that
Council may grant, a limited waiver of the off-street parking and
loading requirements whenever a hardship would exist -by adhering
to strict application thereof, and further provides that the
waiver would not be detrimental to public safety, health and
welfare of the citizens of the City; and
WHEREAS, a hardship exists at the Midway Plaza; and
-WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing
thereon and has made a recommendation to approve this petition;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to take action on the
limited waiver requested in the application of Midway Investments
Ltd., for an additional 112 ninety degree right angle parking
spaces near the proposed Building "A" Restaurant and Building "B"
Retail at Midway Plaza.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT, RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
ECTI N 1: That the application of Midway Investments,
Ltd., for an additional 112 ninety (90)degree right angle parking
spaces near the proposed Building "A" Restaurant and Building "B"
Retail at Midway Plaza is HEREBY APPROVED, and such limited
waiver would not be detrimental to the public safety, health and
welfare of the citizens of the City.

SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective upon
