CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R--87-
A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE SPECIAL
REFERENDUM ELECTION VOTING ON A PROPOSED CAPITAL
EXPENDITURE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW TAMARAC
PUBLIC WORKS BUILDING IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED
$1,900,000.00; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, a Special Referendum Election was held on June
16, 1987, wherein the electorate was asked to vote on a
proposed Capital Expenditure issue for the City of Tamarac;
'and
WHEREAS, the County Canvassing Board has canvassed the
results of the machine voting and absentee ballots and has
certified such results to the City Clerk of the City of
Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk has reviewed the certification
from the County canvassing Board and has presented their
findings to the City Council for formal Certification and
Declaration of the results.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION -1: That the following is hereby certified and
declared as the official results of the public vote at the
Special Referendum Election of June 16, 1987;
Construction of a new Public Works Building
in an amount not to exceed $1,900,000.00

SECTION 2_ This Resolution shall become effect-
ive immediately upon adoption.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 24th day of June ,
1987.
