CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-87- r�5r
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A LIMITED WAIVER OF PARKING
FOR WOODMONT COUNTRY CLUB, PETITION NO. 9-Z-87;
D PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DAT
WHEREAS, Chapter 18 of the Tamarac City Code provides
that Council may grant a limited waiver of the off-street
parking and loading requirements whenever a hardship would
exist by adhering to strict application thereof, and further
provides that the waiver would not be detrimental to public
safety, health and welfare of the citizens of the City; and
WHEREAS, a hardship exists at Woodmont Country Club,
7801 N.W. 80 Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public
hearing thereon and has made a recommendation to approve said
waiver; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to take action on the
limited waiver requested in the application of Woodmont
Country Club, Inc.,.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
CTI N 1: That the application for limited waiver of
parking for Woodmont Country Club to permit reduction of
width of parking stalls from required 10' to 816" for 45
"valet parking" spaces and waiver of 110 parking spaces
thereby granting a reduction of the total Code required
parking spaces from 615 to 505 spaces at 7801 N.W. 80 Avenue,
Petition #9-z-87, is HEREBY APPROVED, and such limited waiver
would not be detrimental to the public safety, health and
welfare of the citizens of the City.
