CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-87-�6�0
A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE EXISTING TAMARAC
CITY HALL ANDDPUBLIC PROVISITES AS SURPLUS
DINGOANSEFFECTIVE DATE.
PROPER
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac is currently constructing a
new city hall facility; and
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac is currently planning the
construction of a new public, works building; and
WHEREAS, upon completion of the new city hall and public
works building the existing sites for the Tamarac city hall
and public works building will no longer be needed for public
purposes; and
WHEREAS, the sale of said properties will result in a
substantial economic benefit to the city and its taxpayers
while ensuring that the properties become productive and
developed parcels.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1 That the existing Tamarac city hall site
shall be considered surplus property upon completion of the
new Tamarac city hall. The legal description of the existing
city hall site is attached hereto and made a part hereof as
Exhibit "A".
SECTION 2 That the existing public works site shall
be considered surplus property upon completion of the new
public works building. The legal description of the existing
public works site is attached hereto and made a part hereof
as Exhibit

SECTION 3 : The City Administration is hereby author-
ized to proceed with implementing the procedures for the
disposing of the above referenced surplus property pursuant
to the Code of Ordinances and all applicable law.
SECTION 4 This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its passage.
