A RESOLUTION APPROVING BUS SHELTER LOCATIONS IN
THE CITY OF TAMARAC ALREADY APPROVED BY BROWARD
COUNTY MASS TRANSIT ON RIGHT -OF --WAY AREAS WITHIN
THE CITY OF TAMARAC; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE
WHEREAS, the residents of the City of Tamarac, Florida
9 wish to have the bus shelters when inclement weather occurs;
20 and
n WHEREAS, the staff of the City of Tamarac recommends
32 approval of the bus shelter concept; and
33 WHEREAS, the concept has been supported by the Planning
14 Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida.
25 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
16 THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA.
17 ,9 MION 1 : That the City Council recognizes the need
to have bus shelters installed in the City of Tamarac,
Florida in accordance with the South Florida Building Code
20 and other regulatory agencies.
21 ZBCTION 2 That the Company known as Public Adver-
22 tising, Incorporated, will supply the bus shelters at no cost
23 to the City of Tamarac.
24 _ SECTION 3 : That the Company known as Public Adver-
25 tising, Incorporated, will supply the City of Tamarac with a
Z5 hold harmless letter in the event any claims for damages or
27 injuries against the City are filed in connection with said
29 bus shelters.
29 ,SECTION 4 : That the bus shelters are to be installed,
iD where possible, where electric service will be provided for
1 the shelters.
32 ACTION 5 : That there will be advertising permitted.on
33 one side only of the bus shelters as shown in the Tamarac Bus
34 Shelter map.

�SECTION 6 : That the bus shelters shall not be approved
unless, or until, the official signature has been obtained by
Broward County Mass Transit approving the bus shelter loca-
tions.
