RESOLUTION NO. R-87- 0 0
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A LIMITED WAIVER OF
PARKING REQUESTED BY REALCO MANAGEMENT,
INCORPORATED, FOR SUNSHINE PLAZA, PETITION
NO. 12-Z-87; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATA...., _.
WHEREAS, Chapter 18 of the Tamarac City Code provides that the
City Council may grant a limited waiver of the off-street parking and
loading requirements whenever a hardship would exist by adhering to
strict applications thereof, and further provides that the waiver would
not be detrimental to public safety, and health and welfare of the
citizens of the City; and
WHEREAS, a hardship exists at Sunshine Plaza; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing thereon
and has recommended approval of this application; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to take action on the limited
waiver requested in the application of Realco Management, Incorporated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC,
FLORIDA:
SECTION-1: That the application by Realco Management, Incor-
porated, to permit 215 additional parking spaces at Sunshine Plaza, at
the northwest corner of the State Road 7 and Commercial Boulevard is
HEREBY APPROVED, and such limited waiver would not be detrimental to
the public safety, health and welfare of the citizens of the City.
SECTION 2_ This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption.
