RESOLUTION NO. R-87-,�!2
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC ADOPTING A SCHEDULE OF ON SITE AND
OFF SITE ENGINEERING INSPECTION FEES BY
AMENDMENT TO RESOLUTION NO. R-87-277; PROVID-
ING FOR REPEALER; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council by Resolution No. R--87-277 adopted a
new building permit schedule of fees; and
WHEREAS, same in error revised on site and off site engineer-
ing inspection fees; and
WHEREAS, the Council did not intend by Resolution No. R--87-277
to amend on site and off site engineering inspection fees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1 : That Resolution No. R-87-277 shall be amended so
that the schedule of engineering inspection fees shall be as
follows:
Inspection Fees :
An application for an improvement permit shall be filed with
the City. Each application shall be accompanied by a plan
indicating the exact nature and location of the desired
improvements and an itemized, estimated cost of all site
improvements, certified by the applicant's engineer or
accountant.
The cost of permit and inspection fees for improvements under
the City's subdivision improvement ordinance shall be paid in
accordance with the following fee schedule:
(a) Canal excavation and bulk-
heads, bridges, seawalls,
endwalls, headwalls, water
distribution, site preparation
and beautification ....... 7.15% of construction cost
(b) All other improvements ... 8.25% of construction cost
(c) The minimum total fee to be
assessed any improvement
project for which a site develop-
ment plan is required, shall be
seven hundred fifty dollars $750.00
(d) Reinspection Fee.. ...... $20.00
for each reinspection required
pursuant to Section 24--9(c) Subdivision
improvements, Tamarac City Code.
(e) The percentage fee for improvement permits is fixed at
the time the permit is obtained and costs, not per-
centages, are to be recomputed and certified by the
applicant's engineer upon completion of the work.

SECTION 2 : That Resolution No. R--87-277 is repealed to the
extent same is in conflict with this Resolution.
SECTION 3 : If any provision of this Resolution or the appli-
cation thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such
invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of
this Resolution that can be given affect without the invalid
provision or application, and to this end the provisions of this
Resolution are declared to be severable.
SECTION 4 This Resolution shall become effective immedi-
ately upon its passage.
