CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-87--36/
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR BUYERS
ANNUAL REQUIREMENT OF CHLORINE
ESTIMATED TO BE 200/1 TON CYLINDERS;
BID NO. 87-27; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Fort Lauderdale
News/Sun Sentinel, a newspaper of general circulation in
Broward County on Saturday, September 19, 1987 and Saturday,
September 26, 1987; and
WHEREAS, bids were opened on Wednesday, September 30,
1987; and
WHEREAS, PB&S Chemical Company, is the lowest fully
responsive and responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the bid of PB&S Chemical Company in
the estimated amounts of:
100 Each/l Ton Cylinder $34,700.00
24 Each/150 lb. Cylinders $1,008.00
12 Each 100 lb. Drums H.T.H. or $1,066.80
equivalent 1,
in the estimated total of $36,774.80, for Buyers Annual
Requirement of Chlorine with funds to be taken from Account
Number 425-363-533-527, Titled Chemicals, is HEREBY APPROVED.
SECTION 2: This resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 28th day of October, 1987.
