CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R--87-`36S-
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF THE TAMARAC MUNICIPAL
COMPLEX POLICE FACILITY, BID NO. 88-3; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Fort Lauderdale
News/Sun Sentinel, a newspaper of general circulation in
Broward County on Tuesday, October 13, 1987 and Tuesday,
October 20, 1987; and
WHEREAS, bids were opened on Tuesday, October 27, 1987;
and
WHEREAS, Southern Atlantic Associates, Inc., is the
lowest and fully responsive and responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the bid of Southern Atlantic
Associates, Inc., in the amount of $1,969,600.00 for the
construction of the Tamarac Municipal Complex Police
Facility, is HEREBY APPROVED.
SECTION 2: That the appropriate City Officials are
hereby authorized to execute any and all contract' documents
necessary in connection with awarding of this bid.
SECTION 3: This resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
