CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-87-,
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR 77 BALLISTIC
VESTS; BID NO. 88-6; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Fort Lauderdale
News/Sun Sentinel, a newspaper of general circulation in
Broward County on Saturday, October 24, 1987 and Saturday,
October 31, 1987; and
WHEREAS, bids were opened on Tuesday, November 3, 1987;
and
WHEREAS, Fairchild -Lowell Corporation is the lowest and
fully responsive and responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the bid of Fairchild -Lowell Corpor-
ation, for 69 Male Ballistic Vests Model II at a cost of
$194.00 each and 8 Female Ballistic Vests Model II at a cost
of $245.00 each, is HEREBY APPROVED.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
