CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-$7-,L0
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING THE
CONSTRUCTION OF A SIDEWALK ON THE SOUTHEAST
SIDE OF McNAB ROAD AND NORTHWEST 93 AVENUE;
RECOGNIZING THE NEED FOR A SIDEWALK IN ORDER
TO PROTECT THE PUBLIC HEALTH, SAFETY AND
WELFARE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 23-24 of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Tamarac as recently amended by the
City Council of the City of Tamarac, the appropriate staff
has determined that there is a public need for a sidewalk to
measure 760'X5'X4" on the southeast side of McNab Road and
Northwest 93 Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the construction of the above cited sidewalk is
on a dedicated right--of-way; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager, City Engineer, Public Works
Director and City Planner have approved and authorized the
construction thereof; and
WHEREAS, the cost of the construction of the sidewalk is
to be derived from an established sidewalk construction
account; and
WHEREAS, the construction of the sidewalk does not
require any additional budget transfers.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That pursuant to Section 23--24 of the Code
of Ordinances of the City of Tamarac, as recently amended, it
is hereby determined that there is a public need for a
sidewalk on the southeast side of McNab Road and Northwest 93
Avenue. The Department of Public Works shall construct the
sidewalk in accordance with the plans attached hereto as
Exhibit "A".

SECTION 2: That the sidewalk shall be constructed on
the property, more particularly described in Exhibit "B",
attached hereto and made a part hereof.
SECTION 3: That the cost of the construction of the
sidewalk shall be Two Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars
($2,900.00) derived from the General Fund Account
No. 001-131-541-541 (sidewalk construction fund).
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its passage.
