CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R--87-383
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A LIMITED WAIVER OF PARKING
REQUESTED BY BARNETT BANK FOR A PROPOSED BANK
FACILITY TO BE LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF
UNIVERSITY DRIVE AND N.W. 82 STREET; PETITION NO.
30-Z-87; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Chapter 18 of the Tamarac City Code provides
that the City Council may grant a limited waiver of the off-
street parking and loading requirements whenever a hardship
would exist by adhering to strict application thereof, and
further provides that the waiver would not be detrimental to
public safety, health and welfare of the citizens of the
City; and
WHEREAS, a hardship exists at a proposed Barnett Bank
facility to be located at the northeast corner of University
Drive and N.W. 82 Street; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held public hearing
thereon and has recommended approval of this application; and
WHEREAS, the City'Council desires to take action on the
limited waiver requested in the application of Barnett Bank.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the application by Barnett Bank to
permit eight (8) parking spaces to be placed in the 83-foot
ingress/egress easement along University Drive on Lot 11,
Block 12 in Lyons Commercial Subdivision #3 at the northeast
corner of University Drive and N.W. 82 Street is HEREBY
APPROVED, and such limited waiver would not be detrimental to
the public safety, health and welfare of the citizens of the
City.

SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
