CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-87- 2 S
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A SPECIAL USE EXCEPTION FOR
THE OPERATION OF AN ANIMAL CLINIC IN A B-2 ZONING
DISTRICT AT TAMARAC SQUARE SHOPPING PLAZA;
REQUESTED BY PATRICK J. ROONEY, D.V.M.; PETITION
NO. 31-Z-87; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the code of the City of Tamarac provides for
the granting of special exception to permit the operation of
an animal clinic in a B-2 zoning district on the premises at
Tamarac Square Shopping Plaza, 5201 N. State Road 7, Tamarac;
and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing has been held and the public
has been given an opportunity to express their views
concerning the application for Special Exception; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Tamarac finds that
the application for special exception would be in keeping
with the public health, safety and general welfare of the
City of 'Tamarac.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1T RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the application for special exception
to permit the operation of an animal. clinic in a B--2,zoning
district at Tamarac Square Shopping Plaza requested by
Patrick J. Rooney, D.V.M., Petition No.,31-Z-87 is hereby
approved.
SECTION 2: Conditions of approval:

adoption.
