CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R--87- 7 d4
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING R. L. (MIKE) VON HOFEN
AS THE CITY OF TAMARAC'S REPRESENTATIVE TO THE
BROWARD COUNTY COMMITTEE FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOP-
MENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH BROWARD COUNTY ORDINANCE
84-3; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE_ DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac desires to be involved with
the Community Development Block Grant Program; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to have a local representative
on the Committee for Community Development; and
WHEREAS, the Committee for Community Development shall
serve as an advisory board to the Board of County Commis-
sioners and shall make recommendations on adoption of an
annual plan of Community Development projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Tamarac
hereby appoints R. L. (Mike) Von Hofen as the City's repre-
sentative to the Broward County Committee for Community
Development.
SECTION 2: The term of appointment shall commence
immediately and expire on May 30, 1988.
SECTION 3: This resolution shall become, effective
immediately upon adoption. AzQQ
