CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-87-eZ
A RESOLUTION GRANTING AN EXCEPTION PERMIT TO
WAIVE A PROVISION OF CHAPTER 20 OF THE TAMARAC
CITY CODE RELATING TO DEAD END STREETS; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, THE LANDINGS ON CYPRESS GREENS has requested a
waiver from the provisions of Section 20-33 of the Tamarac
City Code which prohibits dead end streets; and
WHEREAS, Paradise Drive, the subject roadway, leads into
a neighboring subdivision known as Paradise Estates; and
WHEREAS, the plat for THE LANDINGS ON CYPRESS GREENS
contains a non -vehicular access line that prohibits such
access; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 20-4, Tamarac City Code,
the Tamarac City Council has the authority to grant an
exception permit where appropriate; and
WHEREAS, a hearing has been held as required by law and
the Tamarac City Council has found that an undue hardship
exists which will justify the exception as requested; and
WHEREAS, the granting of this Special Exception permit
will not set a precedent in any way for other aihd unlike
conditions and will not be detrimental to the interests of
the community; and
WHEREAS, this site has adequate water and sewer avail-
able, all right-of-ways have already been dedicated and there
are no additional park and recreation dedication fees
required.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That request for a Special Exception permit
by THE LANDINGS ON CYPRESS GREENS is HEREBY GRANTED. The
special exception permit authorized by this resolution waives
Section 20-33 of the Tamarac City Code which prohibits dead
end streets.

SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
