CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R- 87- /*
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATE CITY
OFFICIALS TO CALL A BOND POSTED BY TAMARAC
MARKET PLACE LAND TRUST FOR TAMARAC MARKET
PLACE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Tamarac Market Place Land Trust, as principal,
has filed with the City a surety bond No. 01989, as surety,
thereunder to guarantee public improvements associated with
the Tamarac Market Place project; and
WHEREAS, the Bond has been in existence since December,
1983 and the landscaping work required by the designated
plans has not been completed; and
WHEREAS, the principal has been notified that the work
is not properly completed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:.
SECTION 1: That the recitations set forth above are
true and correct.
SECTION 2: That Bond No.01989, in the amount of
$109,437.00 posted by Tamarac Market Place Land Trust, as
principal, and Southeastern Casualty and Indemnity Insurance
Company, as surety, is hereby called by the City of Tamarac.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective upon
adoption.
