RESOLUTION NO. R-87-

A RESOLUTION GRANTING A LIMITED WAIVER
4 OF PARKING REQUESTED BY BARRY S. EDEN
FOR TWENTY-TWO (22) PARKING SPACES AT
WOODMONT PLAZA FOR ALL SAINTS LUTHERAN
CHURCH; PETITION #1-Z-87; AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
7 WHEREAS, Chapter 18 of the Tamarac City Code provides
$ that Council may grant a limited waiver of the off-street
9 parking and loading requirements whenever a hardship would
10 exist by adhering to strict application thereof, and further
31 provides that the waiver would not be detrimental to public
12 safety, health and welfare of the citizens of the City; and
13 WHEREAS, a hardship exists at the Woodmont Plaza for All
14 Saints Lutheran Church in a 1500 square foot bay at 7915 W.
15 MCNab Road; and
16 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public
17 hearing thereon and has made a recommendation to have the
g limited waiver remain in force only as long as All Saints
9 Lutheran Church is using the parking lot; and
20 WHERREAS, the City Council desires to take action on the
21 limited waiver requested in the application of Barry S. Eden,
22 Petition #1-Z-87.
23 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:

5E,CTI.ON 1: That the application to grant a limited

waiver of parking requested by Barry S. Eden for twenty-two
25
(22) parking spaces at Woodmont Plaza for All Saints Lutheran
27 Church, Petition #1-Z-87, is HEREBY APPROVED, and such
28 limited waiver would not be detrimental to the public safety,
29
health and welfare of the ci-tizens of the City.
