A.RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF
THE GENERAL ELECTION FOR THE CHARTER BOARD
POSITIONS FOR DISTRICT 1, DISTRICT 3 AND
AT A G• AND-PROWDING AN EFFECTIVE -DATE,
WHEREAS, a General Election was held on March 10, 1987,
wherein the positions of Charter Board District 1, for a two-
year term, and Charter Board District 3, for a two-year term,
and Charter Board at Large, for a two-year term, were to be
filled; and
WHEREAS, the County Canvassing Board has canvassed the
results of the machine voting and absentee ballots and has
certified such results to the City Clerk of the City of
Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk has reviewed the certification
from County Canvassing Board and has presented their
findings to the City Council for a formal Certification and
Declaration of the results.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECT,IQN1: The following are the certified results of
the votes received by candidates seeking the office of
Charter Board, District 1, 3 and At Large, at the General
Election, March 10, 1987.
AT LARGE:
Melanie K. Reynolds 4299
Irving Weber 5395
Irving Weber, having received the highest number of
votes cast in the At Large seat is, therefore, declared to
have been elected as Charter Board Representative At Large,
for a term of two (2) years.
DISTRICT _1:
Morris Haber 4403
Alfred Wald 5276

Alfred Wald, having received the highest number of votes
cast for the District 1 seat is, therefore, declared to have
been elected to that seat, for a term of two (2) years.
DISTRICT 3•

Edward Klein 4829
Stan Bernard, having received the highest number.of
votes cast for the Charter Board District 3 seat is,
therefore, declared to have been elected to that seat for a
term of two (2) years.
SECTION 2: That Irving Weber, Alfred Wald and Stan
Bernard shall take office in accordance with the provisions
of Section 2--4 of the Code of Ordinances.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 17th day of March, 1987.
