CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-87- %,Oa
A RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION # R-87-35
WHICH APPROVED AND AUTHORIZED THE APPROPRIATE
CITY OFFICIALS TO EXECUTE AN EXCLUSIVE TOWING
AGREEMENT WITH AMERICAN TOWING, INC.; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council, on January 27, 1987 adopted
Resolution # R-87-35 which approved and authorized the
appropriate city officials to execute an exclusive towing
agreement with American Towing, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the awarding of the Contract was made after the
completion of a thorough bid process; and
WHEREAS, American Towing, Inc. has failed to comply with
the requirements of the bid proposal and has failed to
execute the contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of
Tamarac, Florida hereby rescinds Resolution # R-87-35 which
approved an exclusive towing agreement with American Towing,
Inc. and hereby rescinds the exclusive towing agreement in
its entirety.
SECTION 2: That the City Clerk shall forward a
certified copy of this Resolution to the appropriate repre-
sentative of American Towing, Inc.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its passage.
