RESOLUTION NO. R-86--2217

A RESOLUTION GRANTING A LIMITED WAIVER OF
PARKING REQUESTED BY PEBB ENTERPRISES AT THE

PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT AT THE S.W. CORNER OF
UNIVERSITY DRIVE AND McNAB ROAD; PETITION
5
42-Z-86; AND PROVIDING A_N EFFECTIVE DATE

WHEREAS, Chapter 18 of the Tamarac City Code provides that
7
Council may grant a limited waiver of the off-street parking and
6
loading requirements whenever a hardship would exist by adhering
9
to strict application thereof, and further provides that the
10
waiver would not be detrimental to public safety, health and
11
welfare of the citizens of the City; and
12
WHEREAS, a hardship exists at the proposed development at the
13
S.W. corner of University Drive and McNab Road; and
14
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing
15
thereon and has made a recommendation; and
16
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to take action on the
17
limited waiver requested in the application of PEBB ENTERPRISES
18
requesting ninety (90) degree parking.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF

TAMARAC, FLORIDA:

SECTION 1: That the application of PEBB ENTERPRISES' for
22
ninety (90) degree parking, at the proposed development at the
23
S.W. Corner of University and McNab, is HEREBY APPROVED, and such
24
'limited waiver would not be detrimental to the public safety,
25
health and welfare of the citizens of the City.
26
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective upon
27
adoption.
