CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-86- o0
A RESOLUTION' AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATE
'CITY OFFICIALS TO CALL A BOND POSTED BY
SABAL PALM ASSOCIATES, LTD., FOR PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENTS ASSOCIATED WITH GOLF VILLAS AT
SABAL PALM PROJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECT-
IVE DATE,
WHEREAS, Sabal Palm Associates, Ltd., as principal, with
Freedom Savings Bank, as surety, has filed with the City Letter
of Credit No. 1139 in the amount of $ 70,237.00 for public
improvements associated with Golf Villas at Sabal Palm project;
and
WHEREAS, the bond is due to expire and there is not
properly completed work; and
WHEREAS, the principal has been notified that the work is
not properly completed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the recitations set forth above are true
and correct.
SECTION 2: That the appropriate City officials are hereby
authorized to call Letter of Credit No. 1139, in the amount of
$70,237.00 posted by Sabal Palm Associates, Ltd., as principal,
with the Freedom Savings Bank, as surety, if an extension to
this Letter of Credit has not been provided on or before June
10, 1986.
SEC,TIQN 3: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its adoption.
