RESOLUTION NO. R-- 86-238
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR TUW PROJECT
# 85-19 REHABILITATION AND EXPANSION OF
WASTEWATER TREATMENT SYSTEM - BID _86_-11
WHEREAS, The City Council authorized the Administration to
go to bid at its meeting on May 14, 1986 and
WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Fort Lauderdale News a
newspaper of general circulation in Broward County on May 24,
1986 and May 31, 1986, and
WHEREAS, bids were opened on Monday, June 16, 1986, and
WHEREAS, R. J. Sullivan Corp. is the lowest and fully
responsive ad responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTIQIy l: That the bid of R. J. Sullivan Corp. in the
amount of $ 319,600.00, is hereby approved with the breakdown
that follows:
1. Lump Sum - Furnish, deliver, install, test and place
in operation the chlorination building
and facilities, splitter box and inlet
box modifications, repair of the geodesic
dome supports, including appurtenances,
the lump sum cost of $ 298,000.00
2. Two Hundred For removal and off -site disposal of grit
from the equalization tank, the unit
price per cubic yard of $ 80.00 for a sum
of $ 21,600.00
3. Total $ 319,600.00
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
