CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-86-0?,cr/-
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE NEGOTIATION OF A
LEASE OF PLANT CAPACITY AT THE BROWARD COUNTY
NORTH DISTRICT REGIONAL WASTEWATER TREATMENT
PLANT AND P 0 IDI FF CTI DATE
WHEREAS, the City has obtained a report from Williams,
Hatfield and Stoner, consulting engineers regarding the
feasibility of transmitting all of its sewage to the Broward
County North District Wastewater Treatment Plant; and
WHEREAS, such a plan requires the city to have adequate
plant capacity at the North District Plant; and
WHEREAS, such capacity is available and the city desires
to lease it;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC FLORIDA:
,SECTION 1: That the lease of 4.3 million gallons per
day (m.g.d.) of plant capacity from Broward County and from
other large users, Such capacity being at the Broward County
North District Wastewater Treatment Plant, is hereby
approved.
SECTION 2: That the appropriate city officials are
hereby authorized and directed to negotiate the lease for
Council approval.

immediately upon its adoption.
