A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY OF
TAMARAC TO SERVE AS BOARD ATTORNEY FOR THE
TAMARAC CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD; PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac,
Florida, has adopted an Ordinance creating the Code
Enforcement Board; and
WHEREAS, said Ordinance provides that the City Council
can appoint the City Attorney, as Attorney for the Code
Enforcement Board; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 162.05, Florida Statutes,
the local governing body Attorney can serve as Counsel to the
Code Enforcement Board; and
WHEREAS, City Attorney, A. Bryant Applegate, has
considerable experience serving as a Code Enforcement Board
Attorney while performing his duties as Assistant City
Attorney for Pompano Beach, Florida.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That City Attorney, A. Bryant Applegate,
shall serve as Board Attorney for the Tamarac Code Enforce-
ment Board.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective im-
mediately upon adoption.
