A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. R-86-273
ADOPTED ON JULY 23, 1986 BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC; AMENDING PROPOSED
CAPITAL EXPENDITURE NO. 3; ELIMINATING ANY
REFERENCE TO TAMARAC UTILITIES WEST CONSTRUC-
8 TION AND REDUCING THE AMOUNT OF FUNDS NECES-
SARY FOR THE PROJECT; PROVIDING FOR THE
9 APPROPRIATE CITY OFFICIALS TO ENSURE PLACE-
MENT OF AMENDED PROPOSED CAPITAL EXPENDITURE
10 #3 ON THE BALLOT; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY
OF INVALID PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING AN
11 EFFECTIVE DATE
12 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tamarac on July
13 23, 1986 adopted Resolution No. R--86-273 concerning proposed
14 Capital Expenditures which are to be placed on the November
15 41-1986 ballot; and
16 WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of amending pro-
17 posed Capital Expenditure #3 found in Resolution
18 No. R-86--273.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
21 SECTION 1: That proposed Capital Expenditure #3 as set
22 forth in Section 1 of Resolution No. R-86-273 is hereby
23 amended to read as follows:

25 A capital expenditure is proposed for a «ama7ret
26 4t333-t3e-s-We-s-t-7-> Public Works and Engineering complex to
27 be located in Land Section 7 contingent upon the City of
28 Tamarac acquiring title to certain areas of Land Section
29 7 in the City of Tamarac. Funds for this project will
30 come from legally available funds in an amount not to
exceed $2Z500,000. This Prgj!agt_ will be

SECTION That the appropriate City Officials are
authorized to ensure that this amendment is properly placed
on the November 4, 1986 ballot.
,�C-TIQN-----3: Should any section or provision of this
resolution or any portion hereof or any paragraph, sentence
or word be declared by a Court of competent jurisdiction to
be invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of
the remainder hereof as a whole or any part hereof other than
the part declared to be invalid.

immediately upon its passage.
