A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE TENTATIVE MILLAGE
RATE FOR THE CITY OF TAMARAC FOR FISCAL YEAR

1986/87 AT 3.35 MILLS ($3.35. _. PER ONE THOUSAND
DOLLARS ($1,000.00) ASSESSED VALUATION); AND
6
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

WHEREAS, the Broward County Property Appraiser
certified pursuant to Florida Statutes the assessed value to
9
the City of Tamarac on July 1, 1986; and
10
WHEREAS, on July 25, 1986 (within 30 days of
it
certification of value by the Property Appraiser), as amended
12
on August 11, 1986, the City of Tamarac advised the Property
13
Appraiser of its proposed aggregate millage rate, of its
14
rolled back rate computed pursuant to Florida Statutes, of
15,
the day, time and place at which a public hearing would be

held to consider the proposed millage rate and the -tentative
17
budget; and
16
WHEREAS, the Property Appraiser utilized the
19
information in preparing the notice of proposed property
'

taxes pursuant to Florida Statutes; and
21
WHEREAS, the Property Appraiser mailed this notice
22
not later than 50 days after certification of value pursuant
23
-to Florida Statutes; and
24
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac has conducted a first
25
public hearing on the proposed aggregate millage rate.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF

TAMARAC, FLORIDA:

ySEQTIQN 1: That the foregoing recitations of
30
fact are true and correct.

SECTIQN 2: That the proposed final millage rate
32
for the City of Tamarac for fiscal year 1986/87 is hereby
33
established at 3 35.. Mills or $3.35 ._ per one thousand dollars
34
($1,000.00) assessed valuation.

SECTION 3: That the final public hearing will be
held for adoption of the final aggregate millage rate and
budget on Tuesday, September 23, 1986 at 6:00 P.M. at the
City of Tamarac Satellite Recreation Center, 7501 North
University Drive, Tamarac, Florida.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective
upon adoption.
