CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-86_ `30-3
A RESOLUTION TO DECLARE THAT THE MOST
EQUITABLE METHOD OF FINANCING THE COST OF
CENTRALIZED WELLFIELDS IN BROWARD COUNTY
WOULD BE BY THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A TOTAL USER
FEE; PROVIDING FOR THE APPROPRIATE CITY
OFFICIALS TO FORWARD A CERTIFIED COPY OF THIS
RESOLUTION TO THE WATER SUPPLY ADVISORY
BOARD, BROWARD COUNTY COMMISSION, AND THE
BROWARD COUNTY LEAGUE OF CITIES; AND

WHEREAS, a centralized Wellfield system within Broward
County is of vital public importance, and
WHEREAS, numerous methods are being considered by
consulting engineers as a means to finance the centralized
Wellfields, and
WHEREAS, the cost of the centralized Wellfield project
will be over fifty million dollars.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
ECT,70N _1: That the City Council of the City of
Tamarac, Florida hereby determines that the most equitable
method of financing the cost of centralized Wellfields would
be the establishment of a total user fee.
SECTION 2: That the appropriate City Officials are
hereby directed to forward a certified copy of this
Resolution to the Water Supply Advisory Board, Broward County
Commission, and the Broward County League of Cities.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its passage.
