A RESOLUTION RATIFYING ADDENDUM NO. 3 TO THE
CONTRACT FOR SOLID WASTE COLLECTION AND
DISPOSAL BETWEEN THE CITY OF TAMARAC AND
WASTE MANAGEMENT, INC.; PROVIDING FOR A
REVISED COMPENSATION SCHEDULE; AND

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SEC_TION 1: That addendum No. 3 to the Contract for
Solid Waste Disposal between the City of Tamarac and Waste
Management, Inc. (attached as Exhibit "A") is hereby ratified
and approved.
2_EGTIQN___2___: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its passage.

ADDENDUM NO. 3 TO CONTRACT FOR
SOLID WASTE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL
THIS ADDENDUM is effective the 1st day of October, 1986
and is made and entered into by and between the City of
Tamarac, a municipal corporation of the State of Florida, and
tWaste Management, Inc. of Florida, a Florida corporation.
W I T N E S S E T H:
WHEREAS, the City of Tamarac herein referred to as
"City" and Waste Management, Inc. of Florida herein referred
to as "Contractor" entered into a contract for solid waste
collection and disposal on October 18, 1984; and
WHEREAS, the parties to said contract have agreed to the
additional provision contained herein; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has ratified this addendum at
its September 10, 1986 meeting by Resolution R-85-358;
NOW, THEREFORE, for the mutual benefits and other
considerations recited herein, the parties agree as follows:
SECTI.OK_1: All definitions contained in the original
contract shall apply in this addendum.
SECTION 2: That the following addendum is incorporated
into the Contract for Solid Waste Collection and Disposal
entered into by the parties:
That based on the increased costs from $25
per ton to $27 per ton, the following revised
compensation schedule shall be in effect from
October 1, 1985 to exactly reflect that that
increased cost:
