CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-86-,2,t-'
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPROPRIATE CITY
OFFICIALS TO CALL THE PERFORMANCE BOND POSTED
BY CARDINAL INDUSTRIES OF FLORIDA, INC., FOR
PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS ASSOCIATED WITH SOUTHGATE
APARTMENTS PROJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE,
WHEREAS, Cardinal Industries of Florida, Inc. , as Principal -,--
with The Aetna Casualty and Surety Company, as Surety, has filed
with the City Bond No. 68SBO3791OBCA in the amount of $70,320.50
to guarantee public improvements associated with the Southgate
Apartments project; and
WHEREAS, the bond is due to expire and there is not prop-
erly completed work; and
WHEREAS, the Principal has been notified that the work is
not properly completed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the recitations set forth above are true
and correct.
SECTION 2: That Bond No. 68SB037910BCA, in the amount of
$70,320.50, posted by Cardinal Industries of Florida, Inc., as
Principal, with The Aetna Casualty and Surety Company, as
Surety, is hereby called by the City of Tamarac if an extension
has not been provided to said band by February 6, 1986.
SECTION : This Resolution shall become effective upon
adoption.
