A RESOLUTION GRANTING A RENEWAL OF A WAIVER
TO THE SIGN ORDINANCE REQUESTED BY LENNAR
HOMES, INC., FOR A TEMPORARY DIRECTIONAL
IG D R IDIEFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Lennar Home, Inc., has requested a renewal of a
waiver to the Sign Ordinance No. 84-58 (Code Chapter 21)
governing signs on property other than their own.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
09TION 1: That the renewal of a waiver to the Sign
Ordinance requested by Lennar Homes, Inc., for a temporary
directional sign on property known as Tract 40, owned by
Carteret Savings and Loan Association, to be erected on the
east side of Nob Hill Road north of Westwood Drive, is HEREBY

SECTION 2: Conditions of Approval:
1. This waiver shall be valid for one year from
October 23, 1986.
2. This approval is granted according to the terms
and conditions in Lennar Homes, Inc., letter dated
September 6, 1985, and co -signed by Irwin H.
Lubar, President of Carteret Savings and Loan
Association.
EEC.TIO 3: This Resolution shall become effective imme-
diately upon adoption.

Dear Bob,
As we discussed, we hereby request your approval to place
a directional sign on your property known as Tract 40 in
Tamarac. It will be located 10 feet east from the property
line off of Nob Hill Road. Enclosed is an illustration of
the sign and its size.
We recognize that your approval would be for as long as you
own the property and also subject to your development of the
property or the placement of any free-standing signs thereon.*
If possible would you also send us the property survey or
a copy of it.
If this request meets with your approval, could you please
indicate same on the enclosed copy. Your expeditious reply
would be greatly appreciated since the City of Tamarac requires
your written approval prior to their sign approval.
