CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R--86- O
A RESOLUTION GRANTING RENEWAL OF A WAIVER TO
THE SIGN ORDINANCE REQUESTED BY WELLENS
FURNITURE COMPANY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, Wellens Furniture Company has requested renewal
of a waiver to the Sign Ordinance 84-58 (Code Chapter 21)
governing temporary directional signs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SBC IQN 1: That the renewal of a waiver to the Sign
Ordinance requested by Wellens Furniture Company for a second
temporary ground directional sign, to be erected west of the
driveway entrance at 3801 West Commercial Boulevard, is
HEREBY APPROVED.
SECTION 2: Conditions of approval:
1: This approval is granted for one year from October
28, 1986.
SECTIO3: This Resolution shall become effective upon
adoption.

RESOLUTION NO. R-86-36Z_
A RESOLUTION RELEASING A PERFORMANCE BOND
POSTED FOR PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS BY PHILIP
H. HOPKINS FOR THE HOPKINS RETAIL STORE;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Philip H. Hopkins, as Principal, and Barnett
Bank of South Florida, N.A.,.as Surety, has filed with the
City Letter of Credit SB-1528 in the amount of $10,619.50 to
guarantee public improvements at the Hopkins Retail Store;
and
WHEREAS, the City Engineering Department has found that
the work has been satisfactorily completed and has recommend-
ed release of said bond upon receipt of a one-year warranty
bond in the amount of $2,654.87.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTIQk l: That the Letter of Credit No. SB-1528 posted
by Philip H. Hopkins, as Principal, and Barnett Bank of South
Florida, N.A., as Surety, in the amount of $10,619.50 for
public improvements at the Hopkins Retail Store, is HEREBY
RELEASED, subject to receipt of a one-year warranty bond in
the amount of $2,654.87.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this day of 1986.
