A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION R-86-376
PERTAINING TO COUNCIL RULES AND PROCEDURES$
AMENDING SECTION (B)(3)(a) OF THE RULES AND
PROCEDURES OF THE CITY COUNCIL BY PROVIDING
FOR THE PUBLIC FORUM AT REGULAR COUNCIL
MEETINGS TO IMMEDIATELY PRECEDE THE REPORTS
OF COUNCIL MEMBERS; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE
WHEREAS, the City Charter of the City of Tamarac
provides that the City Council shall determine its own
rules and order of business.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTIQN1: That Section B(3)(a) of the rules and
procedures for the City Council as established by
Resolution R-86-376 is hereby amended to read as
follows:
(B)(3). Discussion of items not appearing on
Council agenda.
(a). At all regular Council Meetings the
public shall have an opportunity to
discuss matters that are not designated
for discussion on the Council agenda.
The public forum shall immediately
precede the Reports of Council members.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon its passage.
