CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION R--86- �596
A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF
THE GENERAL ELECTION VOTING ON AMEND-
MENTS TO SECTIONS 7.02, 7.08(c), 4.04
AND 7.13 OF THE CITY CHARTER; DECLARING
THAT AMENDMENT NUMBERS CA-1 (AMENDING
CHARTER SECTION 7.02), CA-2 (AMENDING
CHARTER SECTION 7.08(c), CA-5 (AMENDING
CHARTER SECTION 7.13), HAVING BEEN
APPROVED BY A MAJORITY OF THE VOTERS,
SHALL BE INCORPORATED INTO THE CITY
CHARTER; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
"WHEREAS, a General Election was held on November 4,
1986, wherein.the electorate was asked to vote on amendments
to the Charter of the City of Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, the County Canvassing Board has canvassed the
results of the machine voting and absentee ballots and has
certified such results to the City Clerk of the City of
Tamarac; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk has reviewed the certification
from the County Canvassing Board and has presented their
findings to the City Council for a formal Certification and
Declaration of the results.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECT II N 1: That the following is hereby certified and
declared as the official results of the public vote at the
General Election of November 4, 1986, for the proposed
Charter Amendments;
AMENDMENT_ CA-11:
Amendment to Section 7.02 of the
City Charter - Submission of budget
and message for ensuing fiscal year
by City Manager to City Council.

a-ECTIIOV 2: IT IS HEREBY DECLARED that Amendment numbers
CA-1 (Amending Charter Section 7.02), CA-2 (Amending
Charter Section 7.08(c), and CA-5 (Amending Charter
Section 7.13), having received approval of a majority of
the voters voting on these amendments, shall become a
part of the existing City Charter of the City of
Tamarac, which was adopted at the General Election held
on March 9, 1976 and subsequently amended.

SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
