CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-86- O F /
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR TAMARAC
UTILITIES WEST, 201 FORCE MAIN -PHASE II,
PROJECT NO. 86-5, BID NO. 86-26, AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, The City Council authorized the Administration
to go to bid at its meeting on April 23, 1986, and
WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Fort Lauderdale
News/Sun Sentinel, a newspaper of general circulation in
Broward County on October 17, 1986 and October 24, 1986, and
WHEREAS, bids were opened on November 4, 1986, and
WHEREAS, Ric -Man International, Inc. is the lowest fully
responsive and responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
Section 1: That the bid of Ric -Man International, Inc.
in the amount of $1,567,220.00 is hereby approved.
Section 2: The Appropriate City Officials are hereby
authorized to execute all contract documents necessary to
the awarding of the bid.
Section 3: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.
