RESOLUTION NO. R-86- ..� �,
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR TAMARAC
UTILITIES WEST, WATER TREATMENT PLANT
IMPROVEMENTS FLUORIDATION FACILITIES,
BID NO. 86--27, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, The City Council authorized the Administration
to go to bid at its meeting on July 23, 1986, and
.WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Fort Lauderdale
News/Sun Sentinel, a newspaper of general circulation in
Broward County on October 22, 1986 and October 29, 1986, and
WHEREAS, bids were opened on November 3, 1986, and
WHEREAS, Utilities Services, Inc. is the lowest fully
responsive and responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
Section 1: That the bid of Utilities Services, Inc. in
the amount of $48,470.00 is hereby approved.
Section 2: The Appropriate City Officials are hereby
authorized to execute all contract documents necessary to
the awarding of the bid.
Section 3: This Resolution shall become effective
immediately upon adoption.

BID SECURITY
1. The undersigned Bidder does hereby declare and stipulate
that this proposal is made in good faith, without collusion
or connection with any other person or persons bidding for
the same work, and that it is made in pursuance of and
subject to all the terms and conditions of the Contract
Documents, all of which have been examined by the
undersigned.
2. Accompanying this proposal is a certified check or standard
bid bond in the sum of $

3. The undersigned Bidder agrees to execute the Contract and a
performance and payment bond for the amount of the total of
this bid within ten (10) calendar days from the date when
written notice of the award of the contract is delivered to

proposes to furnish the specified performance and payment
