CITY OF TAMARAC FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-86-S
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A LIMITED WAIVER OF PARK-
ING REQUESTED BY BUDGETEL INN FOR A PROPOSED
MOTEL ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF COMMERCIAL BOULEVARD
EAST OF N.W. 38 TERRACE; PETITION #14-Z-86; AND
PR VIDI EFF CTI E DATE,_
WHEREAS, Chapter 18 of the Tamarac City Code provides that
Council may grant a limited waiver of the off-street parking and
loading requirements whenever a hardship would exist by adhering
to strict application thereof, and further provides that the
waiver would not be detrimental to public safety, health and
welfare of the citizens of the City; and
WHEREAS, a hardship exists at the site of a proposed motel
to be located on the south side of Commercial Boulevard, East of-
N.W. 38 Terrace; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing
thereon and has made a recommendation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to take action on the
limited waiver requested in the application of Budgetel Inn,
Petition #14-Z-86.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the application to permit a reduction
from one and one -quarter parking spaces to one parking space per
room and to waive the requirement for loading zones for a pro-
posed motel at the south side of Commercial Boulevard, east of
N.W. 38 Terrace, as requested by Budgetel Inn, is HEREBY
APPROVED, and such limited waiver would not be detrimental to the
public safety, health and welfare of the citizens of the City.

adoption.
