4 A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR
5 2.0 MG STORAGE RESERVOIR AND
6 PUMPING STATION -PROJECT NO.
84-19 - BID #86-7
7 WHEREAS, The City Council authorized the Administration to
6 go to bid at its meeting on July 29 1985, and,
9 WHEREAS, bids were advertised in the Fort Lauderdale News
10 a newspaper of general circulation in Broward County on February 8
11 and February 14, 1986, and
12 WHEREAS, bids were opened on February 18, 1986, and
13 1°1IIEREAS, R. J. Sullivan Corporation is the lowest. fully
14 responsive and responsible bidder.
15 NOW, THEREFORE, B111- IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
16 OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
17 SECTION 1: That the bid of R.J. Sullivan Corporation in the
18 amount of $993,000.00 is hereby approved, with the breakdown as fol_'_ow
subject to the approval of the Utilities Director/City Engineer regard
19 ing the selection and type of storage site on Page DSG-2, Paragraph
G05, "Storage Site", of Williams, Hatfield & Stoner, Inc., report:
20 1: Labor, Materials, Tools and Equipment and for
21 Constructing, Finishing and Testing the 2.0
MG Storage Reservoir and Pumping Station,
22 110 Feet Diameter Tank Design in the Amount
of $970,000.00
23 2: Architectural Treatment for 110 Feet Diameter
24 Tank Design in the A. -mount of $23, 000. 00
25 SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediatel
26 upon adoption.
27 PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 26th day of February,
