CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA
RESOLUTION NO. R-86-- _
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A RENEWAL OF A WAIVER
TO THE SIGN ORDINANCE REQUESTED BY KINGS
POINT OF TAMARAC PERTAINING TO NUMBER, SIZE
AND LOCATION OF CERTAIN TEMPORARY COMMUNITY
DIRECTIONAL SIGNS; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, Kings Point of Tamarac has requested a renewal of a
waiver to the Sign Ordinance No. 84--58 governing number, size and
location of certain temporary community directional signs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TAMARAC, FLORIDA:
ISBCTION 1: That the renewal of a waiver to the Sign Ordi-
nance requested by Kings Point of Tamarac for temporary community
directional signs at the following locations is hereby approved:
1) south side of McNab Road - Tract M - sign to be 4' x 81, 32'
overall
2) north side of Commercial Boulevard - sign to be 8' x 41, 32'
overall
3) north side of McNab Road (east of 8333 W. McNab Road) sign to
be 8' x 41, 32' overall
SECTION 2: A fourth sign on the west side of University
Drive, one block north of Commercial Boulevard, is no longer consi-
dered a part of this waiver as the property owner has ordered the
sign removed by the developer.
SECTION 3: Conditions of approval:
1) All signs in Section 1 above are subject to City Code Section
21-8, Paragraph (2), which refers to the South Florida Building
Code regarding signs over 24 square feet.
2) Renewal of waiver approved for one year from March 23, 1986.

SECTION ^4: This Resolution shall become effective upon
adoption.
