RESOLUTION R-86-86
3 A RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO THE
BROWARD COUNTY LAND USE PLAN WITHIN THE
4 CITY OF TAMARAC, AND AUTHORIZING SUBMIS-
SION TO THE BROWARD COUNTY PLANNING
COUNCIL, AND AUTHORIZING BROWARD COUNTY
PLANNING COUNCIL TO SUBMIT ALL AMENDMENTS
6 TO THE STATE OF FLORIDA FOR A NINETY (90)
DAY CONCURRENT REVIEW FOR RECERTIFICATION
? QF,_THE TAMARAC LAND USE PLAN.

10 WHEREAS, the City wishes to amend the County Land Use
11 Plan as provided in Florida Statute (163); and
12
13 WHEREAS, as the City wishes to amend the Broward County
14 Land Use Plan and wishes to correct all calculations and
15 designations to provide for the future needs of the City of
16 Tamarac; and
17
16 WHEREAS, the City has held public hearings to amend the
19 Broward County Land Use Plan, at which parties in interest
20 and all other citizens so desiring had an opportunity to be
21 heard.

23 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
24 THE CITY OF TAMARAC, FLORIDA:

26 SECTZQN 1: The following amendments attached as Exhibit
27 A to the Broward County Land Use Plan of the Comprehensive
28 Plan for Broward County within the City of Tamarac are hereby
29 approved with changes included by the City Council during the
:,a public hearing.

32 SECTION 2: That the City Staff as authorized by the
33 City Manager is hereby authorized and instructed to transmit
34 said amendments to the Broward County Planning Council for

recertification of amendments as reflected for Broward County
Land Use Plan Amendments, within the City of Tamarac.
SECTI_QN _J: That the City Manager or his designee is
hereby authorized and instructed to advertise public hearings
for the final adoption of the Land Use Plan Element as
amended upon recertification of same by the Broward County
Planning Council.
